We are delighted to offer these 3 very private and luxurious architect designed apartments each with a large south facing balcony affording truly breathtaking views of the Dovey Estuary, Ynys Hir nature reserve and Plynlimon Hills beyond. Winding roads lead you to Plas Panteidal hugging the Estuary wall and offering tempting glimpses of the Old Stables high up on the steep wooded hillside.

The Old Stable apartments have recently been converted from the original stable block to the former Bishop of Bangor's Palace which was destroyed by fire in the 1950s. The gated apartments offer superb accommodation in a peaceful location at the southern tip of the Snowdonia National Park. You are just a mile and a half from Pennal and 3 from Aberdovey, Tywyn is a little further up the coast. Aberdyfi is a picturesque seaside town with a magnificent 4 mile beach backed by golden dunes and a championship links golf course. The owners can arrange temporary membership of the Plas Talgarth Health & Leisure Club (about a mile and a half from the apartments), on request.

Underfloor heating has been fitted throughout the accommodation with thermostatic controls to each room. The floors in all areas are oak apart from the bathrooms which are tiled and the internal doors are also oak. There is a private parking area accessed via electrically operated main gates to the properties. Each apartment has designated parking space(s). The apartments share the inland view of the large communal courtyard area filled with an abundance of plants.

The Old Stables' provide the ideal retreat to get away from it all but also providing the perfect base for the full range of outdoor activities available locally.

Other properties in the local area include Panteidal Farmhouse and Gatehouse which nestle in a picturesque wooded valley overlooking the Dovey estuary just half a mile from 'The Old Stables' apartments. Panteidal consists of the main detached farmhouse of character and a detached stone gatehouse, either of which you can rent separately or jointly - in which case they can accommodate up to 12 guests. Greaves Wharf House has a fabulous position adjacent to the slipway in Porthmadog harbour.
