Carreg Y Nant has a large ground floor open plan fully equipped Kitchen, also with a dish washer and a washer / dryer, and the very relaxing living area has 2 sets of patio doors opening to the private garden. The private hot-tub is located in the garden over looking the fields and the old oak trees. There is a small unfenced brook running through the garden. There is a small wash room in the hall with a w.c and basin. The bedrooms are on the 1st floor with an en suite double bedroom and one en suite Twin Bedroom. Each bathroom has a shower, w.c and a basin with large velux windows, which make the bathrooms very light and fresh.

The cottages are located in the perfect location overlooking the picturesque village of Llanuwchllyn and the Aran mountain. Llanuwchllyn is a mile away and a lovely walk along the public footpath along the river Lliw. In the village a visit to the Eagles Inn is a must for excellent home made food and a cold beer - the traditional Welsh Sunday lunch is a treat not to be missed. As this area is a walkers paradise you may wish to go for a long leisurely walks along the public footpaths from the village or even hop on the little steam train from the village to the town of Bala.

The bustling market town of Bala lies within the beautiful Snowdonia National Park and is located at the head of Llyn Tegid, Bala’s famous lake, which is the largest natural lake in Wales and home to a unique fish called the Gwyniaid. The town is about 10 minutes drive away and has a number of good quality restaurants and pubs. Bala is a small town but has a lot to offer any visitors. It is also within traveling distance of some great shopping and historical towns such as Chester, Ruthin, Llangollen and Porthmadog Bala.

Coarse Fishing - Llyn y Gro is situated near to the village of Sarnau on the A494, some 3-4 miles north of the picturesque Welsh market town of Bala in the Snowdonia National Park. Llyn y Gro is the epitomy of scenic, peaceful and enjoyable coarse fishing. The lakes are lined with reeds/rushes as well as a few willow trees; the banks are flat and easy (except for the north bank, which is out of bounds) and there are a few “patches” of water weed, lily pads as well as 5 floating islands and 2 "bank" islands on lake 1 that make interesting features.
