Crowpie cottage is located in a beautiful part of Matlock Bath, Derbyshire. Situated within 2 acres of woodland this self catering cottage is set on the hillside overlooking the beautiful Derwent Valley towards Starkholmes and Riber Castle.
The cottage consists of 2 double bedrooms, 1 family rooms and 2 twin bedroom. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge and in the snug. The dining room seats up to 14 people and has french style double doors opening out onto the garden and terrace area at the front of the property. There is a feature fireplace situated in the living area and the recently furnished kitchen contains newly fitted units and all of the integral appliances. You will find a large selection of books, games and puzzles in the Snug/games room and garden games such as garden Jenga, swing-ball and boules are supplied in the summer.
At the front of the cottage there's a lawned garden with mature shrubs and trees plus a sunny patio with yorkshire paving which is accessed via french doors from the dining room. To the rear of the cottage there is a lawned garden with around two acres of woodland to explore.
Matlock Bath is a delightfully picturesque area of the Derwent Valley with steep sided hills, dense woodland and pretty houses that follow the river down into the valley. This cottage is ideal for couples and families of all ages.
