The Cabins are located 2.5 miles from the restaurants and pubs in Arrochar which lies at the head of Loch Long. One of Scotland's most famous lochs is Loch Lomond which is 3.5 miles away. This loch is 22 miles long and at certain points is up to 5 miles wide. Here you will find water sports, beaches and plenty of places to eat. For golf lovers there is Loch Lomond Golf Club which is considered to be among the 'Top 100' finest golf courses in the world and The Carrick also on Loch Lomond is the 71-par course & straddles the fault lines between the Scottish lowlands and highlands with nine holes set in each.

Once on site your eyes are automatically drawn to the rugged peaks of Argyll Forest Park that sweep majestically to meet the loch that slices down towards the Clyde estuary. Argyll Cabins, Ardgartan, is a great choice for a holiday or short break in Scotland.

Forest Holidays provides affordable log cabin holiday accommodation. Argyll Cabins offers a choice of two & three bedroom holiday accommodation. Choose from either a  Silver Birch Cabin with its outdoor hot tub, or our more luxurious Golden Oak Cabin which features an outdoor terrace, hot tub and cosy log burner Cabins sleep between four and eight people. Arranged for the best possible views across Loch Long, these Brand new Cabins for 2009 at Argyll are modern and cosy and designed specifically for Forest Holidays.

All Cabins at Argyll are 2 & 3 bedroomed (some en-suite). Extremely well designed and thoughtfully furnished the cabins are fully equipped for all self-catering needs. The more exclusive Golden Oak cabins have extra facilities like a contemporary log effect fires, your beds will be made up for you on arrival and towels will be provided for all guests. For all other types of accommodation towels can be hired on site to save you having to bring them. Cots and high chairs available on request. To save the hassle of a supermarket trip order your groceries via Forest Holidays before your arrival, also locally sourced produce for a BBQ can be arranged.
