A Forest Holiday is about relaxing in a natural environment where you are free to walk and cycle without boundaries, take part in family activities and great outdoor adventures that won’t break the bank and spending quality time with your family and friends. The Forest cabins are all exclusively set within the Forestry Commission estate in beautiful woodland and lochside locations, each with its own unique character and offering the perfect setting for a relaxed holiday.
Nestled beside magnificent lochs within the Scottish Highlands you'll find Strathyre and Argyll sites. Here may of the activitites are water inspired. You can go canoeing, kayaking and fishing, even take a plunge in a gorge walking expedition. No matter what time of year, there's always the magnificent scenery to cycle, hike or climb.
Set within the ancient woodlands high above the Wye Valley The Forest of Dean is England's first National Forest Park and largest oak woodland. Located between the Wye Valley and the river Severn there is plenty todo and see including rock climbing and abseiling to take part in.
Sherwood Forest cabins are set in Nottinghamshire in the largest area of woodland in the forest, Sherwood Pines, has cycle trails for all abilities, plenty of woodland walks and children’s play areas.
Located 35 miles from the historic English town of York, Keldy Cabins sits on
the edge of the North York Moors National Park. Its idyllic setting in the heart of the forest makes Keldy Cabins an ideal choice for relaxing family holidays or short breaks in Yorkshire. Explore on foot, hire a bike or relax in your Cabin.
The Cabins at Deerpark are set on the site of an old gunpowder mill & are clustered around a tranquil millpond and up the side of the valley to make the most of the lush surroundings.
Many of the activities which are on offer at each location are water based, and there is also plenty of opportunity for land based activities such as hiking and cycling if you don't fancy getting your feet wet. The specially trained Forest Rangers will share their passion, knowledge and insight with you on special activities and adventures throughout your stay.
