Strathyre Overview
Location

A forest holiday is about relaxing in a natural environment where you are free to walk and cycle without boundaries, take part in family activities and great outdoor adventures that won’t break the bank and spending quality time with your family and friends.

Strathyre Cabins allows you to enjoy all of this in abundance with stunning scenery and fantastic wildlife on your doorstep. The cabins at Strathyre are set along a dramatic backdrop of pine trees on the edge of the Scottish forest and some of the Log cabins enjoy views of Loch Lubnaig.  The perfect choice for a relaxing log cabin break available throughout the year.

The wildlife at Strathyre is really special with osprey, roe deer, red squirrel, red deer and pine marten all living in the local area. Surrounded by such spectacular scenery, its no wonder that Strathyre is popular with walkers, climbers and wildlife enthusiasts and with the loch so close at hand there's fishing, canoeing, kayaking and more on site.

Strathyre Cabins are located just four miles from the gift shops, restaurants and local amenities located in the Scottish market town of Callander. The City of Stirling is just 19 miles away. With its Castle and Old Town meeting the cutting edge culture of a contemporary University City it is known as the best small city in Scotland. For golf enthusiasts there are plenty of options, locally Comrie and nearby St Fillans offer challenging 9 hole courses set amidst stunning scenery, whilst Crieff's 18 holes is a championship course and Golf Monthly rated Callander among the top ten courses in Scotland for visitors. Excellent opportunities for hill-walking, horse riding, watersports, white water-rafting, wildlife safaris, deer-stalking, game shooting and skiing - with Glencoe only an hour and 1/2 away.

Strathyre Cabins provides the best of all worlds with plenty of water-based activities to enjoy, wildlife to watch and forest to explore. This location has been delighting visitors to Scotland for years.
