Situated just 5 miles from Dundee, Kingennie resort is an ideal choice for your holiday, whether you are keen on golf, fishing, or simply relaxing in the countryside.

On-site at Kingennie there is an 18 hole golf course with separate putting green and driving range.  There is also excellent trout and coarse fishing in four well-stocked pools. The Waterside Restaurant and Cairn O’Mount bar are open daily where you can enjoy great food and drink as well as great views of the fishing ponds and the countryside beyond.

There is also a thistle maze and a play park for the children. Plenty of outdoor activities are available locally including cycling, tennis, pony-trekking and even falconry. There is also plenty to see and do in the historic city of Dundee, set on the River Tay which is only minutes away.  Kingennie really has something for everyone.

Kingennie Boathouse - The 'Boat House' is set slightly apart from the other properties on the water’s edge, providing a truly romantic and relaxing getaway suitable for honeymoons or anniversaries. This lavishly furnished 1 bedroom cottage has stone-clad walls in the lounge with a feature fireplace and a jacuzzi bath in the ensuite. From the lounge and the master bedroom there are also stunning views over the woodland and the fishing pool.

Golf - Golfing enthusiasts could scarcely pick a more ideal location, with world famous golf courses nearby at Carnoustie and St Andrews and over 30 quality golf courses within an hour’s drive.

Kingennie golf course, opened in summer 2007, surrounds the Forbes of Kingennie Estate, and has been designed to be a challenge for all levels of golfer. Beautiful panoramic views of the Tay Estuary and St Andrews. To complement the golf course a Driving Range with Target Golf and an 18-hole putting green also built to USGA standards is available.

Kingennie Fishing - 4 well stocked trout fishing pools with coarse fishing available too, created by Mike Forbes, former Scottish National Fly Fishing champion. It is home to some of Scotland's most famous trout fishing lakes providing excellent fishing for experts and novices alike throughout the year. Whatever your preference, fly fishing for trout, or bait fishing, both options are available at Kingennie and only a short walk from your holiday lodge. Good for weekend breaks or family holidays.
