Property Overview

'Liever' log cabin is recently extended & refurbished 2 bedroom (both ensuite) spacious cabin in a great location close to Loch Awe. Located next to the village of Dalavich, on the western shores of Loch Awe in Argyllshire.

The location is excellent for both a relaxing break and exploring the Western Highlands and the close to the gateway to the Western Isles at Oban. On site facilities and short breaks available.

Set amid the peace and tranquility of the magnificent Inverliever Forest, with beautiful forest walks, fishing, trail biking, bird and wildlife watching close at hand, the location is excellent for both a restful and relaxing break. An ideal location for touring the many interesting places to visit in the Western Highlands.

Situated alongside the beautiful Loch Awe, one of Scotland's largest & most picturesque freshwater lochs. Renowned for its wild fishing for both trout and salmon. The lodge includes fishing rights from the loch and permission to launch a boat from the beach.

Whether you want to fish, play golf, take a sail on the loch, walk or simply relax and read a book, there is plenty for you to experience.

Loch Awe Fishing:
Loch Awe is one of Scotland's’ premier fishing Lochs. The Loch is 27 miles of fresh water providing opportunity to catch pike, salmon,brown and rainbow trout. The largest brown trout was caught in this Loch in 2000 at 32lbs! The season for salmon and trout is mid March to mid October. Coarse fishing for perch roach and pike is all year round. There is also Loch Avich which is only a 5 minute drive away where you can also fish and if you want a guaranteed catch Inverawe fisheries 30 mins drive away has stocked ponds of trout for you to try your luck with!
