Excellent fishing both from the cottages, in the marina and on the main river behind.

All your local amenities can be found in Potter Heigham village which is only a short walk away. There is a pub, a chip-shop, bakery, post office and coffee shop. The famous Lathams store is also across the road from the cottages and from here you can purchase fishing tackle and fresh bait as well as groceries & deck shoes. The famous medieval bridge in Potter Heigham is believed to date from 1385 and gives access to the Upper Thurne, Hickling Broad and Horsey Mere waters upstream.

By far and the best way to experience the Broads would be by boat as It gives the whole family the opportunity to explore the delights of this area at your own pace. A free day boat is available for hire for 1 full day on 7 night bookings, plus 25% discount on additional hire on day boats.
