These self catering lodges are set in beautiful woodland amidst oak, birch, rowan and hawthorns right on the banks of the Caledonian Canal. Sit on your veranda and watch boats sail past while you enjoy the magnificent view to the north face of Ben Nevis and the Aonach Mor ski slopes.
Each lodge is sited to give maximum privacy and has ample parking right outside. The canal is fenced off making it safe for children and there are plenty of places were dogs can be walked off their leads. The croft has been in the same family for generations and like to offer guests the best of Highland, hospitality and show them the traditional, crofting lifestyle. The more adventurous can walk or climb mighty Ben Nevis and the many other Munroes in the area or try the numerous forest walks and cycle paths of the Great Glen Way.
Cycle along the canal up to Neptune’s staircase, a series of eight locks at the entrance to the Caledonian Canal. Watch the boats go up and down on their way between Inverness and Fort William then have a bite to eat at the Moorings Hotel.
