Simply enjoy a relaxing log cabin break overlooking the lakes or join our regular fishermen for a spot of fishing during your stay. The area has something for everyone to enjoy.
For those of you who enjoy the calmer things in life, sit back and absorb the spectacular scenery or perhaps enjoy the ambiance to paint or sketch the scenery and wildlife around you in the Shropshire countryside. This country retreat is surrounded by 10 acres of unspoilt countryside and mature oak trees with wild flower meadows which overlook two tranquil fishing lakes where there is an abundance of wild life: kingfishers, herons, osprey, grey lag geese, moorhens, dragon flies and damsel flies. Spring Heath is an ideal base for all your interests.
Spring Heath Log Cabins & Fishing Pools is owned and run by David Tonkinson, a permanent wheelchair user and keen fisherman. David is developing this beautiful location to make it accessible for everyone. The aim is that fully able and disabled, or people with any mobility problems can enjoy a spot of fishing. All the log cabins have wheelchair access and each bathroom has a grab rail. The larger cabins have specially designed wet rooms for wheel chair users.
The log cabins have been beautifully handcrafted from whole trees. Each cabin has a tasteful and contemporary interior finished to a high standard. All cabins have south facing verandas with garden furniture provided so that you can enjoy that sundowner watching the fish leap and splash.
There is a choice of two bedroom (Heron and Moorhen) or three bedroom (Kingfisher or Osprey) log cabins. The Heron and Moorhen cabins have two separate bedrooms both with twin beds, dressing table and drawers and a wardrobe. There is a bathroom with shower, wash basin and toilet.
The larger cabins, Kingfisher and Osprey have one king sized master bedroom with en suite bathroom and two further twin bedded rooms, all with wardrobe, drawers and dressing table.
