Park Overview

Set in a tranquil position beside Sutton Village Staithe in the heart of the Norfolk Broads, these luxurious cottages offer everything you could want from a relaxing Norfolk holiday.

A ground floor patio and first floor sundeck, overlooking unspoilt countryside, give you the flexibility of alfresco living with total privacy. Or if you prefer cosy Autumn or Winter breaks your cottage will be warm and inviting after an idyllic riverside walk or maybe a shopping trip to the City of Norwich. Sutton Staithe Cottages provide a relaxing getaway anytime of the year.

The Staithe at Sutton is a picturesque location on the River Ant in the heart of the Norfolk Broads. Day boats can be hired from the Staithe and fishing is permissible with a rod licence.

Sutton village boasts the largest corn mill in the country at nine storeys' high and, whilst not open to the public, it is well worth a look. The village is also home to a small pottery studio.  Nearby are the popular broadland villages of Wroxham, Horning and Potter Heigham. The small market town of Stalham is the home of the Broads museum and is just minutes away. The beach at Sea Palling is four miles, with Happisburgh, Winterton, Eccles and Cromer beaches a little further. Both Norwich (17 miles) and Great Yarmouth (15 miles) are easily accessible.

Sutton Staithe lies at the eastern end of Sutton Broad and has good moorings and a hotel /pub. The village itself, on the opposite side of the busy A149 road, has a shop with post office and garden centre and a pottery (Sutton Pottery). Sutton Mill is located about a mile from the staithe and is a nine storey corn-mill, currently not open to the public.
