Commodore Lochview Balcony Suite is a first floor self-catering property which sleeps 4 people in a super long king sized double bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge. The property is pet friendly and access is via an external flight of stairs. The contemporary open plan living, dining and kitchen area creates a relaxing home from home for your vacation. You have the extra comforts of a spa bath in the master suite, a private sauna and also underfloor heating which keeps the property nice and cosy all year round. For a leisurely afternoon then head to the local Arduaine Gardens. Overlooking the Sound of Jura and with the influence of the warming climate of the North Atlantic Drift you are not only graced with magnificent sea views but also a variety of exotic plants from all around the world.

Melfort Pier and Harbour is one of the most beautiful locations by the sea providing an ideal touring base for the Highlands and Islands. Take advantage of your natural surroundings and enjoy the beautiful walks in the area or take to the water and try a bit of windsurfing or sailing. Further afield, take the 30 minute drive to the coastal town of Oban. Known as the seafood capital of Scotland make sure you try the local seafood, perhaps after a walk up to McCaigs Tower for a lovely view over Oban Bay. If you wish to explore the islands you can easily take the ferry over to Mull and Iona. The short 45 minute journey takes you the enchanted colourful streets of Tobermory, the dramatic cliff top Duart Castle or the miles of pristine beaches such as the famous Calgary Bay. Take advantage of your spa bath, sauna and cosy log fire when you return to your accommodation after your busy day.

Closest Pub - In Kilmelford there is a local hotel and public house called the Cuilfail Hotel or try The Lord of the Isles pub in Croabh Haven (15 minute drive).

Free fishing from the pier in to Loch Melfort (sea loch) - mackerel from July to late August.

Fly Fishing at Inverawe Fisheries & Country Park - Approx. 1 hour 10 mins away. Lessons available.

Feel free to bring your own sailing boat or windsurfer.

Moorings are available in harbour (charges apply).
