Property Overview

Waterside Retreat, a brand new luxurious holiday cottage for 2012 is close to centre of Wroxham is at the very heart of Broadland's' liveliest village. It is an excellent location for fishing, boating, sailing and bird watching.

This lovely detached waterside property is just off the main River Bure and is very comfortably furnished making a perfect year round retreat offering all home comforts. Use of rowing dinghy to explore the endless waterways or of course hire a day boat and moor it up alongside the cottage. It is ideal for couples or families, and you may enjoy feeding the swans and ducks, which will come up to the door. Fishing can be enjoyed from the waterside garden.

With Wroxham being within easy walking distance, you will find riverside pubs and restaurants, shops and day boat hire, whilst sandy beaches, nature trails, golf courses, craft barns and National Trust properties are all under 15 miles. Norwich , a charming cathedral and university city, boasts galleries, museums, excellent shopping, cinemas, theatres and a castle (12 miles).

Wroxham is home to the Bure Valley Railway, Wroxham Barns and Roys, "the biggest village store in the world". Day boat hire and sailing tuition as well as a quality golf courses are also close by. In addition, it is just seven miles from Norwich, with the sandy beaches of the East coast within a twenty minute drive.
