Relax with the family at this peaceful, cosy cottage. Curlew is a 200-year-old cottage that was formerly part of a working farm. Enjoy stunning surroundings with the warmth of the wood burner in winter or perhaps climb Ben More that sits at the back of the cottage in the summer. Drive and take in the stunning scenery of the Trossachs or Glen Coe or travel to the fishing town of Oban.

Curlew is an upside-down cottage in that the bedrooms/bathroom are downstairs and the sitting/dining room and kitchen are upstairs. This means that you can benefit from the stunning views whilst sitting at the fire or enjoying a meal at the dining table.

Loch Iubhair is 5 minutes away if you are interested in taking your own Kayaks or paddleboards out onto the Loch.

Cancellation policy
Cancellation 5 days before arrival, will receive a full refund, after 5 days no refund will be given, unless we can resell those dates.

We ask that they are never left in the property on their own, unsupervised.
Please ensure you clean up after your pet both around the property and fields.

Arrival and departure times
Check in – from 4.00pm. Checkout - 10.00am.
If you plan to arrive late in the evening, please let us know in advance so we can ensure you're well taken care of.
Departure is up to 10am so we have time to prepare for our next guests. Please let us know in advance if you wish to arrive or depart different to our specified times. We will always try to accommodate your requests.

The property is cleaned and maintained to a very high standard. May we ask that you maintain these high standards of cleanliness in the Farm house throughout your holiday.

  • The salmon fishing season runs from the 15th January - 15th October. Please note there is strictly no Salmon fishing permitted on Sundays throughout the year.
  • The trout fishing season runs from the 15th March - 5th October.

Local Supermarkets - Londis is a 1.5-mile walk/ drive away in the village of Crianlarich. There is also a New large Co-op 15 minutes away in the village of Killin.

Crianlarich Village - Only 5 minutes by car, there is a local pub, a tea room, a village store.

Falls of Dochart - Situated in the village of Killin.

Ben Lawers - The highest mountain in Southern part of the Scottish Highlands, approximately 40 minutes drive from the property.

Glencoe - The village is located within the mouth of the Glen and banks of Loch Leven. A must see, approximately 1 hours drive from the property.

Stirling Castle and Monuments - Approximately 1 hour drive.

Perth, Pitlochry and Crieff - are all 1-hour drive away.

Edinburgh & Glasgow - Benmore Farm is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes drive to Glasgow and 2 hours drive to Edinburgh.
