Dunhams Villa is a unique holiday property built in 2014, built into the hill with a lawn roof offering a roof top garden. Offering sea views, the property faces East and enjoys views of Port Egmont. The property also has a boat dock with a swimming ladder for dips into the harbour.

3 double bedrooms with king sized double beds. Two on the first floor with doors opening onto the balcony and one on the ground floor. All bedrooms have their own ensuite bathrooms. The large kitchen is located on the first floor, which leads to large double doors that open out to the balcony area offering stunning waterside views.

The holiday cost is for accommodation rental only and excludes flights and transfers which you will need to arrange independently. We strongly advise guests to take out their own holiday cancellation and medical travel insurance.

There are a selection of beaches to discover, the nearest one is a two minute drive or you can swim across the bay to the beach due east from the house. The nearest supermarket is also within a five minute drive. In Le Phare Bleu you can also join the Yacht Club to hire Hobie cats.

Ground floor kingsize bedroom with ensuite bathroom with a shower cubicle & WC. There is also a sink unit with storage and washing machine.

First floor two double bedrooms with king sized beds with double doors opening onto balcony. Both have ensuite bathrooms with Jacuzzi double baths with overhead showers, washbasins and WCs.

The house does have air conditioning and if left on can cost $700 a week to run. 150 KWH is included in the price and after that it is charged at cost $1.15 per unit.

Location Information

Dunhams Villa is located on the South Coast of Grenada. The villa is approximately 20 minutes drive from Maurice Bishop International Airport, which is located in the Island's Capital of St George.

Turning left and walking for 5 minutes over the hill will take you to Le Phare Bleu which is a lovely marina and bar/restaurant with a swimming pool. There is also a deli/supermarket open Tuesday to Saturday. The marina office can organise car hire - the owner has a full list of car rental companies who will also meet and greet at the airport.

The Lightship is also berthed alongside the marina where the kayaks are based - they have live music onboard on a Friday starting at 8.30 with bar snacks and drinks available.

'Real Value IGA' in Spice Island Mall is 20 minutes drive, next to Grand Anse beach - they have UK brands to help you feel at home.

The closest beach is just 2 minutes drive from the villa.

A full set of guides and books will be available at the villa so you can explore. The middle of the island is very beautiful. Day trips up north are also recommended.

Terms & Conditions


1. When booking a deposit of 30% of the hire charge must be paid.

2. A cleaning & breakages deposit of £200 must be paid. This is refundable after completion of the stay once the property has been checked for cleanliness and no breakages.

3. Balance of holiday becomes due 6 weeks prior to arrival.

4. For bookings made six weeks or less before arrival date, full payment is required upon booking. The total number of persons shall not exceed 6 people.

5. Once a booking has been confirmed the hirer shall be responsible for the total advertised price.

6. In the event of cancellation after the booking is confirmed and deposit is paid, we will, at our discretion, refund all or part of the monies received, less reasonable expenses, if we are able to re-let the villa.

7. All people staying must be registered and paid for with booking form if it transpires more people are present twice the booking fee will be requested if no payment received deposit will be withheld and tenants will vacate villa immediately.

8. Holiday rentals can start on any day after 4pm. The villa must be vacated by midday on day of departure.

9. 6 hours cleaning is included within the rental cost. If more than this is required, additional cleaning will be charged at £25 per hour.

10. Any breakages must be replaced or paid for. Please inform caretaker of any shortages on arrival.

11. No responsibility is accepted for loss, damage or accident to persons or private property however caused. You use the villa and any equipment therein entirely at your own risk and the owners/company can in no way be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury whatsoever.

12. If you choose to leave early before the end of your rental period for whatever reason no refund will be offered or given.

13. The BBQ must be used outside the house and not on the balcony under any circumstances. Please ensure it is properly distinguished after use and cleaned before putting away. A £25 fee will be charged for cleaning.

14. You are strongly advised to take out your own personal holiday insurance to cover cancellation plus personal ilness and accidents.

15. Access to the lawned roof area is possible BUT as this is unguarded you are adised that access is at your own risk. The owners can accept no liability should you choose to access the roof space

THE MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE/CANCEL ANY BOOKINGS FOR ANY REASON, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR OTHERWISE. TENANTS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE IF THEY CAUSE A NUISANCE TO OTHER USERS OF THE AREA AND NO REFUND WILL BE MADE.

Important Information

  • Grenada offers shoals, reefs and an abundance of deep water close to shore, providing diverse areas to catch a variety of fish.
  • There are plenty of fish to catch in Grenada including sailfish, blue marlin, white marlin and the occasional tuna. There's a selection tour operators who offer boat charters to enjoy a days fishing.

Local Attractions

St Georges, Grenada

Seven Sister Falls - Located within the Grand Etang National Park. There are a selection of guided tours available which include hiking into the rainforest and discovering the waterfalls, where there is also a pool perfect for swimming.

House of Chocolate - located along Young Street in St Georges, there is a mini-museum, boutique and chocolate cafe selling everything chocolate! Such as cakes, drinks and ice creams.

St George's - located around 25 minutes drive from the villa. Explore this hilly town, taking a walk through the streets to visit the Anglian Church and Catholic Cathedral, along the sea front you will discover the bronze statue of the Christ the Deep. Visit the Grenada National Musuem to learn more about the island.

Kayak Hire - Conservation Kayak offers guided adventures focussing on enjoying and preserving the nature. Located at Whisper Cove Marina in Woburn Bay, which is approximately 10-15 minutes drive from the villa.

River Antoine Rum Distillery - established since 1785, this distillery is the oldest in Grenada. Offering tours and tasting, along with a small shop.

Beaches - there are plenty of beaches to discover in Grenada, including Prickly Bay, Grand Anse Beach, Morne Rouge Beach, La Sagesse Beach and Magazine Beach.

Golfing - there is a golf course approximately 3.2km from the villa.

Tennis - there are two tennis courts nearby, Grand Anse Court (3.8km) and Tanteen Court (4.8km).

Watersports - discover the sea by Scuba or dive.

Underwater Sculpture Park - constructed in 2006, home to a over 70 sculptures, many created by Jason deCaires Taylor. It is recommended to scuba dive to take in the sights, departures from St Georges or Grand Anse.

Nutmeg Tour - Grenada has a rich history in spices, and used to be the world's second-largest producer of nutmeg. Take a short tour around the Gouyave Nutmeg Processing Station, located on the north west section of the island.
