Tawny Hideaway is located in a secluded location on the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland. If you are looking to unplug from the world then this is the place to be. Nestled in a quiet countryside location you will have the best of both worlds as the stunning Fife coastline is only a 5 minute drive away. Ideal for a romantic getaway or a family holiday this beautifully furnished property offers cosy contemporary surroundings and can sleep up to 4 people in 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom. Your open plan dining area extends out to a furnished decking area complete with a private hot tub. What a perfect way to sit back, relax and take in the peaceful surroundings.
Letham Feus Holiday Park is equipped with a small shop on site for any last minute essentials, there is also a children’s play area and a licenced bar with entertainment which is open at the weekends. Close by is the town of Lundin Links where you can also pick up any further supplies. Here, you will also find one of the fabulous links golf courses which is renowned for its rare quality along this stretch of coastline. St Andrew’s is also only a short drive away for any keen golfer wishing to try a round on the oldest course in the world.
If you want to explore locally then the Fife coast is only a short drive away. The Fife coastal path passes through many of the local villages so enjoy a walk along the clifftops whilst embracing the sea breeze. Stop by at Pittenweem or Elie to soak up the atmosphere and culture of a traditional fishing village or take a dip in the tidal pool if you are feeling brave. Finish off with some lunch or dinner trying out some of the local produce, seafood is a speciality in this area. Further afield a 30 minute drive will bring you to Dundee, Scotland’s oldest city. Home to jute, jam and journalism this city is reviving itself with new waterfront attractions such as the V&A design museum and the RRS Discovery where you can learn all about Captain Scott’s expedition to Antarctica. At one time Dundee was the jute capital of the world. Why not visit the Verdant Works Museum to learn more about Dundee’s textile heritage. After a busy day return to your relaxing holiday accommodation where you can soak in the hot tub, enjoy some drinks on the decking or cosy round your wood burning stove.
