Dragonfly Lodge is a gorgeous ‘log cabin style’ holiday lodge situated at Wall Eden Farm, near Burnham-on-Sea in Somerset and enjoys a stunning position in the Somerset countryside. Offering a private hot tub*, Dragonfly is one of eight lodges set on an ex-dairy farm on the edge of the wonderful Somerset Levels. There are sheep and chickens in the grounds, with the chickens supplying fresh eggs for the farm shop that you’ll find onsite.

A great choice for families or friends, Wall Eden Farm offers activities to keep everyone busy including paddleboards, kayaking, canoeing, archery, shooting and axe throwing. Fishing is available on the river nearby and there’s a small course-fishing pond onsite. There is also a café / bar for snacks and drinks if you’d prefer to sit back and relax.

Inside, Dragonfly Lodge is very comfortably furnished and sleeps up to 6 people in one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms. There is a family bathroom plus a wet room which is accessible for wheelchair users. The large open-plan living / dining area has double doors which open onto a lovely decking area where you can enjoy a spot of al fresco dining or simply enjoy the view.

Dragonfly is one of the most accessible log cabins at this location with parking alongside and level access with double door entry. There are wide doorways and corridors and grab rails in both of the bathrooms. There is a range of equipment you can also hire such as profile beds, commode chairs and shower chairs.

Wall Eden Farm is situated in a particularly pretty part of Somerset. The farm is in the perfect location for exploring Somerset and the coast is just 15 minutes’ drive from the property.

*Please note: The hot tub may not be available on the first day or night of your holiday due to being emptied, cleaned and re-filled.

Access Information

• Wall Eden is on an ex dairy farm and so still has a traditional rustic charm feel to it.
• All tracks and pathways are gravelled but may be a little uneven in places.
• Other areas of the site are grassy and may be a bit uneven around the pods, pond, river and cabins.
• The reception is located at the top of the farm track and is accessed via a paved ramp. There is a slight lip on the door to gain access inside.
• Parking is nearby to the property.
• Wheelchair accessible paved path to access the property.
• Level decking at the front of the lodge.
• Double door entry (140cm wide).
• Wide doorways (81cm wide) and corridors.
• Wet room with handrails.
• Large bathroom with fold down toilet rail.
• Both the archery and air rifle shooting are wheelchair accessible.
• Shower chair (stationary rubber footed) and/or toilet frame available free of charge. (Must be booked at least 4 weeks in advance)

• Fishing available on-site on a private stretch of the River Brue or the small coarse pond. The ground will be uneven in places and will be a mixture of gravel path and grass.
