Gooseberry Glamping Pod is situated at Wall Eden Farm in Somerset and enjoys a stunning countryside location within 15 minutes’ drive of the coast.

‘Gooseberry’ is one of nine compact and cosy glamping pods set on an ex-dairy farm, overlooking a small fishing lake. Animals that occupy parts of the farm include rare breed sheep and a flock of chickens that supply fresh eggs to the well-stocked farm shop.

Inside, the pod is cleverly designed and sleeps 2 people in the double bedroom area, plus an extra 2 when using the convertible double sofa-bed. There’s a bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin, plus a small but perfectly formed kitchen. The living area is fitted with a TV/DVD for your entertainment.

A variety of activities are available at Wall Eden Farm including archery, shooting, axe throwing and watersports such as kayaking and paddle-boarding. Fishing is available on a private stretch of the River Brue or on the coarse pond near the glamping pods. There’s also a café / bar onsite where they serve snacks, cakes and beverages.

Set in a particularly pretty part of the West Country, these pods are in a perfect location for exploring the beautiful county of Somerset and its multiple attractions.

Security Deposit - Please note that a £200 security deposit will be held on the payment card (not deducted from the account). Should any damage to the property occur or in the event that the property is left in an unacceptable condition Wall Eden Farm reserve the right to charge the card.

Wall Eden Farm is located on the banks of the River Brue.

Range of activities available onsite (charges apply including axe throwing (12yrs +), air rifle shooting (7yrs +), canoe and kayak hire (4yrs + & there must be 2 adults on the water) and archery (7yrs +).

Exmoor National Park is only a 50 minute drive away.

There are numerous attractions and villages in the local area, including Longleat Safari Park, Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury, Weston Super Mare, Bath and the Fleet Air Arm Museum.

Access Information

• Wall Eden is on an ex dairy farm and so still has a traditional rustic charm feel to it.
• All tracks and pathways are gravelled but may be a little uneven in places.
• Other areas of the site are grassy and may be a bit uneven around the pods, pond, river and cabins.
• The reception is located at the top of the farm track and is accessed via a paved ramp. There is a slight lip on the door to gain access inside.
• As you enter the park, parking for the glamping pods is available on the right hand side.
• The glamping pods are not wheelchair accessible.
• There is a step up onto the decking and threshold step to enter the pod.
• The accommodation is all on one level inside.
• Fishing available on-site on a private stretch of the River Brue or the small coarse pond. The ground will be uneven in places and will be a mixture of gravel path and grass.
• The nearest fishing location is on the course pond, however the River Brue is only a 2-3 minute walk away.
