Somerset Yurt is situated at Wall Eden Farm, near the seaside town of Burnham-on-Sea, in a stunning area of beautiful Somerset countryside, overlooking a small fishing lake.
This impressive ‘glamping’ yurt is set on an ex-dairy farm on the edge of the Somerset Levels. Animals grazing in the surrounding fields include rare breed sheep and there are chickens that supply the onsite farm shop with eggs.
Inside, this stunning yurt is beautifully furnished and sleeps 2 comfortably in a four poster king-size bed. Two further guests can be accommodated by using the sofa bed, if required. Surprisingly well-equipped, there’s a fully functional kitchen and an en-suite shower room with toilet and wash basin. There’s even a flat screen TV/DVD and heating.
Adventure activities such as archery, shooting, paddle-boarding, canoeing and axe throwing (!) are available to book during your stay; or you can enjoy a spot of fishing on the private stretch of the River Brue that adjoins Wall Eden Farm. If you prefer to sit and relax, there’s also a café / bar that offers cakes, snacks and beverages.
