Wroxham Quays is located a 5 minute walk from the village of Wroxham, the heart of the Northern Broads. This 2 bedroom pet friendly property is located on the river’s edge so perfect for watching the hustle and bustle on the river during the day and then enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the river views as the sun sets in the evenings. Sleeping up to 5 people in 2 bedrooms this is ideal for a family of friends get together. On the first floor the master double bedroom has wonderful riverside views and the other double bedroom has an additional single bed if required to provide flexible sleeping arrangements. You also have a modern family bathroom with shower over bath.
On the ground floor the open plan lounge/dining area has 2 luxurious comfortable velvet sofas with riverside views and a dining table suitable for up to 6 guests. Decorated in neutral tones this is a nice space for relaxing in at the end of your day. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for creating evening meals and the spacious and rustic dining table banquette seating on 2 sides to allow everyone to socialise together. The patio doors lead out to a private terrace where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a late afternoon aperitif. It is gated and fenced off from the water’s edge so you know your pet will be safe. The property comes with its own private mooring so you may wish to hire your own boat for the duration of your holiday. Exploring the Norfolk Broads on the water is an excellent way of getting to know the area and experience the abundant wildlife at any time of the year.
Within Wroxham itself you will find a supermarket, shops, cafes, takeaway eateries, riverside pubs and restaurants. There are several family friendly activities locally such as Wroxham Barns, BeWilderwood and the Bure Valley Steam Railway. Wroxham also has a mainline train station where you can explore both city and coast if you wish to travel further afield. The medieval city of Norwich is only 8 miles away and is certainly worth a visit. The winding cobbled streets are filled with boutique shops, friendly cafes and excellent restaurants. Immerse yourself in the beautiful architecture and explore Norwich Castle Museum and also Norwich Cathedral. Finish with a riverside walk taking in the relaxing ambiance of the market that occurs every day apart from Sunday. Alternatively, head to the coast to explore the sandy beaches of Sea Palling, Horsey and Winterton on Sea. Take a stroll along the seafront to blow away the cobwebs and perhaps finish with fish and chips or an ice cream. The seaside resorts of Great Yarmouth, Cromer and Sheringham are great family days out with activities for all ages.
After your busy day return to your accommodation and enjoy the peaceful river views or settle down for an evening movie on your wall mounted smart TV. On returning home, this little corner of Norfolk will have captured your heart so much that you will wish to return here time and time again.
