This 150 year old detached waterside holiday cottage is the perfect base for families or groups of friends who wish to enjoy this picturesque setting and visit the many attractions and historic sites nearby.

Discover the peace and tranquillity of the Inland waterways in this 6 bed cottage which can accommodate up to 11 people. Set in a working boatyard this is the ideal location for guests wishing to relax and watch the boats float by. The living room is furnished with a cosy wood burning stove making this the perfect retreat all year round.
Please note: Cottage is priced for 6-8 people, 15% discount for groups of 1-5 and 12% addition for parties 9-11.

The Globe Pub on the canal is only 10-15 minutes' walk away either by the canal towpath or by road.
Access to canal frontage (children take care).
Launch you own canoes / dinghy - a licence is not required if you are a member of the British Canoe Union.
Buoyancy aids available.
Fishing - national rod license required. (local day tickets £3). No fishing at boatyard.
