This large 150 year old detached waterside holiday cottage is the perfect base for a family get together or a group of friends who plan to enjoy the cottage’s picturesque setting as well as visiting the many towns, attractions and historic sites nearby, which include Bletchley Park, Leighton Buzzard Heritage Railway and ZSL Whipsnade Zoo.

The Waterside Cottage occupies a great location next to a working canal wharf in the village of Linslade which adjoins the market town of Leighton Buzzard, where you’ll find a choice of shops, pubs, takeaways and restaurants, just 20 minutes’ walk away over the canal bridge.

This lovely canalside holiday cottage can accommodate up to 11 people in 6 bedrooms. The living room is furnished with a cosy wood burning stove and there’s a generous dining table which can accommodate large groups. The kitchen has a door leading to an outside garden / picnic area to the rear of the cottage (BBQ available) and there’s a glass conservatory with patio furniture at the front, overlooking the canal.

Note: A great holiday retreat all year round, Waterside Cottage is priced for 6 to 8 people. There is a 15% discount for groups ranging between 1 and 5 people or an addition of 12% for parties of 9 to 11 guests.

Tesco supermarket is 5 minutes away by car.

The Globe Pub on the canal is only 10-15 minutes' walk away either by the canal towpath or by road.

Access to canal frontage (children take care).

Launch your own canoes / dinghy - a licence is not required if you are a member of the British Canoe Union.

Fishing available on the other side of the canal. National rod licence required. Local day tickets £5. No fishing at the cottage/boatyard.
