Sycamore Lodge is a large detached holiday cottage sleeping up to 8 guests, situated less than a mile from the pretty seaside town of Penmaenmawr and its lovely beach. The lodge is set on a small private estate surrounded by absolutely stunning Welsh scenery with views over lush green countryside and across the beautiful Conwy coastline. On the estate you will also find a well-established, nationally recognised Troutmaster Fishery with a reputation for excellence in fly-fishing, making this the perfect place for both anglers and holidaymakers alike.

Sycamore Lodge is a wonderful holiday cottage with incredibly spacious rooms and really excellent facilities. Sleeping 8 people, Sycamore Lodge has 4 bedrooms – one en suite double and 3 large twin rooms. Recently refurbished and decorated to a high standard, the Lodge has a generously sized open-plan kitchen and dining area which includes a full range cooker, a dishwasher and an American-style fridge freezer; a sturdy dining table & chairs; a breakfast bar and plush sofa seating for after dinner drinks and chats. French doors lead out onto a furnished patio area and a second exterior door leads into a handy utility area with a washing machine and sink. An internal door from the utility area leads to an interior hallway with access to an enormous ‘wet-room’ with a shower and toilet. There is a separate sitting room for relaxation which offers two large sofas and further comfortable seating, plus a flat-screen wall mounted TV and a coffee table. Upstairs you will find four spacious bedrooms, each with its own storage space, wardrobe and flat-screen TV. The double room has a large en-suite shower and toilet and there is a second sizable family bathroom with a roomy shower and another toilet. Radiator heating throughout. Bed linen and towels provided. Free Wifi for your convenience. Large parking area directly in front of the property.

This lodge is an excellent choice for families, couples or a group of friends. There is so much to see and experience in the local area and Sycamore Lodge makes the absolutely perfect base for a truly wonderful holiday. The local town of Penmaenmawr has local cafés, pubs, shops and supermarkets; plus a wonderful beach which stretches as far as the eye can see and has some of the best sunsets ever. Close by there is an Aqua Park with suitable facilities for all age groups. The local train station is less than a mile from the Lodge and has regular departures for Llandudno, Colwyn Bay, Bangor or Conwy if you’d prefer not to drive, or those same places make great days out if you’re bringing your own transport. Sycamore Lodge is also a great central hub if you love cycling holidays, with the local area just calling out to be discovered at your own pace.

The nearest train station is Penmaenmawr Station a 15 minute walk away.

For supermarkets there are a Co-Op and a spar located in Penmaenmawr or there is a Tescos in Llandudno Junction a 15 minute drive away.
