Ty-Fynnon is a large detached holiday cottage sleeping up to 8 guests, situated less than a mile from the attractive seaside town of Penmaenmawr and its lovely beach. The lodge is set on a small private estate surrounded by stunning Welsh countryside with views over lush green hills and across the beautiful Conwy coastline. On the estate you will also find a well-established, nationally recognised Troutmaster Fishery with a reputation for excellence in fly-fishing, making this the perfect place for both anglers and holidaymakers alike.

Ty-Fynnon is a wonderful holiday cottage with spacious rooms and excellent facilities. Sleeping 8 people, Ty-Fynnon has 4 bedrooms – 2 double rooms and 2 twin rooms. Recently refurbished and decorated to a high standard, this comfortable lodge has a generously sized open-plan kitchen and dining area which has everything needed for your stay including a washing machine, dishwasher and integrated fridge/freezer. The sturdy dining table seats 8 people and a selection of reading books is provided for your enjoyment in the traditional french dresser. A glazed door leads out to an L-shape lawned garden (perfect for children) and there is a furnished patio with a BBQ area. Next to the kitchen there is a roomy shower room with a walk in shower, WC and wash basin. A separate sitting room offers two large comfortable sofas, plus a flat-screen wall mounted TV and a coffee table. Across the hallway there is a second ‘snug’ sitting room with its own TV which is the perfect place for children or teens to hang out together. Upstairs you will find four generously sized bedrooms, each with its own storage space and wardrobe. The master double room also has a wall-mounted TV. There is a large family bathroom with a bath (shower over) and WC. Radiator heating throughout. Bed linen and towels provided. Free Wifi for your convenience. Private parking directly in front of the property.

This cottage is an excellent choice for families, couples or a group of friends. There is so much to see and experience in the local area and Ty-Fynnon makes the absolutely perfect base for a truly wonderful holiday. The local town of Penmaenmawr has local cafés, pubs, shops and supermarkets; plus a wonderful beach that stretches as far as the eye can see and from there you can catch some absolutely stunning sunsets. Close by there is an Aqua Park with facilities for all age groups. The local train station is less than a mile from the cottage and has regular departures for Llandudno, Colwyn Bay, Bangor or Conwy if you’d prefer not to drive, or those same places make great days out if you’re bringing your own transport. Other nearby places of interest include the island of Anglesey, the royal town of Caernarfon and the Snowdonia National Park. Ty-Fynnon is also a fabulous central hub if you love cycling, with the local area just calling out to be discovered at your own pace. The fishing lake is just a stone’s throw away, perfect for a spot of fishing during your stay.
