The Hay Barn is located at New Mills Marina on the Upper Peak Forest Canal in the foothills of the Peak District. The property has been recently restored whilst maintaining its rich history and period features.
Inside there is a double bed in one bedroom on a mezzanine floor, providing impressive views across the Upper Peak Forest Canal and surrounding hills. The ground floor has a dining and living area, a kitchen, bathroom and shower. There is also a leather bed settee on the lower floor should four people wish to stay.
The property also benefits from a multi fuel stove for cosy evenings. A small supply of logs, kindling and coal is included for your stay and additional supplies can be bought from the marina. Outside of the property, there is a BBQ and seating area.
The town of New Mills is set in an area of spectacular natural beauty standing above a natural rocky gorge, known as The Torrs, where the River Sett joins the River Goyt. In the town there is a great range of restaurants, cafés, pubs and takeaways.

Peak District National Park - Great location for cycling, walking & wildlife watching, just 20 miles away.
